Kundapur: Second theft at mobile shop reported in recent months

Kundapur, Mar 3: A second incident of theft was reported at Sannidi Mobile Shop of Koteshwar on Wednesday March 2 night.





















The mobile shop near Koteshwar bye pass, owned by Surarsha was ransacked by thieves a few months ago. Another theft occurred at the same shop on Wednesday late night. The thieves entered after breaking the shutter lock and glass and decamped with a dumb box. Nearly eight mobiles that had come for repairs, four new mobiles and Rs 3,000 cash are missing.

The thieves also entered a nearby textile shop by the name of 'You Like Fashion' owned by Dinesh and disappeared with Rs 5,000 cash and a TV. The definite value of the stolen items is yet to be known.

A police case is registered at Kundapur police station. Forensic experts and the canine squad arrived and conducted the investigation.
