Man arrested for employing, harassing seven-year-old girl

Kasargod, Mar 4: A man who reportedly behaved rudely with, and committed atrocity on a minor girl working there as house maid, stands arrested by the Kumble police. The arrested person has been identified as MSM Muhammed (48), a resident of Arikkady Fort Road here.


A woman who worked as maid for Muhammed (48) had recently left to visit her native place, Periya, for a few days. Before going there, she had provided the services of her daughter, a second standard student, to work in her place during her absence. Allegedly, the house owner got the girl to do strenuous work at his home, and also cut her hair. Unable to bear the atrocity, the girl fled from the house.

When some locals questioned the girl, they came to know what had transpired. They then informed Childline. Childline officials questioned the girl and filed police complaint, after which the police, who too conducted investigation, arrested the accused.

    Before blaming the man,I ask why the mother left her seven year Girl by a 48years old man to work?is she a human?mother?why did she left her back?more than harassing her something more could have happened.why should a Girl work at this Age?she belongs to the School.second the man he has no blood in his eyes.would he make his child work like her?and cutting hair,harassing,send him jail and make him work.Mother should also be punished.

    Disagree with your Message Rita. The mother must have replaced the child so that the job will be secured when she come back. We should think little more about the mother, she must be poor and want to give her best to the child...she must have thought that, few days replacement will not harm her child...

    The mother of the young seven-year-girl is also responsible for sending that girl to work in that idiot's house when she went to her native place. Off course, that man should get full punishment for employing and harassing that young girl.

    Inhumane act. I also blame the mother who left such a small child to work in the house . Inhumane and barbaric act. Feeling very sad seeing the plight of the poor girl who suffered so much

    Sir , there are many, but its just that those incidents will never be make into big news. But the moment any person from minority is involved (even though he is right or wrong), evry single person has to comment on it and in-turn blame BD or BJP. Hence i suggest Moral policing should not be done at all where as u wanted the moral policing!
