Mumbai, Mar 5: Guru Narayana Yakshagana Mandali convened by the city's Billavara Association cultural sub committee held their annual public recitation of Om Shanti Om Shaneeshwara scriptures on Saturday
March 5 afternoon at Billavara Bhavan, Santacruz east.










The recitation was held under the guidance of national Billavara Maha Mandala president Jaya C Suvarna and association president Nithyananda D Kotian. Association vice president Bhaskar V Bangera, Vedavathi Bhaskar, Kalva local committee executive president and association cultural committee executive president Dayananda Poojary and Veena Dayananda couple installed the Kalasha, businessman Vaman Poojary lit the traditional lamp and set the programme in motion. Harish Shanthi conducted community Shanipooje, distributed prasada and blessed the gathering. Guru Narayana Yakshagana mandali artistes performed recitation of Shaneeshwara scriptures and Shaneeshwara Mahapooje.

Association honorary chief secretary Dharmapal G Anchan, honorary chief treasurer Mahesh C Karkal, Bharath Bank director Chandrashekar S Poojary, M B Kukyan, C T Salian, association manager Bhaskar Poojary, cultural committee honorary secretary Ashok Kukyan Sasihitlu, Devaraj Poojary Dombivli, Ravindra A Ameen, leaders of local and coordination committees and office bearers were present.

Cultural sub committee members Dhananjay B Ameen, Chandrahasa J Kotian, Padmanabha K Poojary, several Yakshagana artistes, Yashodhar D Poojary and Mulki B M Suvarna set the recitation in motion.
