Bantwal: Cousins killed as speeding car hits two-wheeler at Vittal

Bantwal, Mar 6: Two persons were killed after a car rammed into their two-wheeler at Maira in Alake village, Vittal here on Sunday March 6.

The deceased have been identified as Umesh Naik (36) and his cousin Vasanth Naik (47), residents of Adkasthala.

They were riding along Vittal-Kasargod road when a Swift car approaching from the opposite direction rammed into their two-wheeler.

The impact of the collision was such that both were killed on the spot.

Police sources said that the Swift car was speeding and was also on the wrong side of the road.

The car driver, whose identity is not known, has been taken into custody.

Vittal police have registered a case.

    A very sad and deadly accident. SPEEDING KILLS. Two precious lives were lost due to the negligence and speeding of the driver of the swift car. He must be a feku driver with a fake licence.
