Dubai: Shanaishchara puja on Sep 30 - Preparations under way

Dubai, Mar 7: With the consent of all the volunteers of Shanaishchara Puja present at a meeting, it was decided to hold the puja on September 30. The venue will be announced soon.


Shree Shree Mohanadasa Swameeji, Shree Kshetra Dhama, Manila will grace the occasion with his blessings. Well known Purohit Shree Vedamoorthy Nagananda Vasudeva Acharya, Udupi will perform the rituals for the pooja. Shri Shamnadigaru Kumble, a popular advocate, will narrate the Shanikatha Paarayana while local bhajan teams will perform Bhajanotsava.

A grand procession will be arranged to welcome and receive the Swameeji.

Swameeji's speech, Maha Mangalarati and pooja prasad distribution will be followed by Bhojan.

All devotees, donors and organisations of UAE are requested to support and cooperate towards the success of the programme.

Shri Vittal Shetty briefed the gathering about the programme and delegated the responsibilities, Shri Sudhakar Thumbay recollected the memories of the previous successful programmes and also outlined a brief introduction of the guests of this year and concluded with a vote of thanks.

All the others present put forward their valuable suggestions and accepted their responsibilities.

Shri Chandrashekar, brother of Swameeji was present and expressed his full support.

Shreeyuths Anand Salian, Jagannath Bellare, Rithu Anchan Kulshekar, Krishnakumar Aila, Balu Shetty Madoor, Sandeep Kumar Devadiga and Jayanth Shetty were present.
