Jeddah: Under-arm cricket tournament ‘Yeregaavu Kirikiri’ on Mar 17 & 18

Jeddah, Mar 8: First time in the history of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, a day and night knockout under-arm cricket tournament, organized by MMA Advertising Agency, will take place on March 17 and 18 at UPL Cricket ground Jeddah KSA.

So far, under-arm cricket is played only in coastal Karnataka. In a bid to promote coastal culture, MMA Advertising Agency will hold the tournament in the foreign soil.


The match will be played for five overs and 16 teams are expected to take part in the event.

The winners of the tournament will take away a cash prize of SR 1000 and Malla Kirikiri trophy. The runners-up will be awarded the Yelhya Kirikiri trophy and SR 750. There are many more prizes for excellent performers in the tournament.

The entry fee for the tournament is priced at SR 400.
