Prakash Jha's next directorial a 'relationship based' film

New Delhi, March 9 (IANS): After impressing audiences with his action-packed avatar in "Jai Gangaajal", filmmaker-actor Prakash Jha says his next directorial will be around relationships, unlike his usual socio-political dramas.

Asked if he would explore softer genres in films, Jha, who has helmed movies like "Raajneeti" and "Satyagraha", told IANS: "Genre of filmmaking? Yes, of course. The next film that I will be doing is not a socio-political drama, but it's a relationship based film."

The filmmaker, who portrayed the character of a corrupt police officer named B.N. Singh in "Jai Gangaajal", said that he is still working on the film and nothing is decided as of now.

"The title is not yet decided... Nothing (cast) is decided. I am just working on it," he added.

Directed By Jha, "Jai Gangaajal", which released on Friday also features actress Priyanka Chopra as a police officer named Abha Mathur.
