Riyadh: MCA elects office bearers at first annual body meeting

Riyadh, Mar 9: Mangaluru Cricket Association (MCA) in the city conducted its first annual general body meeting to elect its office bearers for the year 2016. Shamsuddin Mulki was re-elected as president of MCA, for the year 2016. The event was conducted at a Community Hall (Isthrah) at Exit 18, Al Kharj Road, here on Thursday March 3.


























The meeting was conducted by Riyaz. Chief guests Yunus, Abubakar Padubidri and MCA president Shamsuddin Mulki emphasized the importance of playing good cricket and explained how things changed drastically after MCA, was formed a year ago in the city. Sarfraz, Sheikh Abbas, Rajesh and Sateesh were the other guests.

Riyaz made a PowerPoint presentation with the complete picture of MCA, the aims and objectives, achievements and it’s future plans, including the financial report for the year 2015 etc. MCA, Riyadh facilitated seven umpires for their contribution to Riyadh Cricket. Mr. Abubakar Kannangar & his team was honored with 'The Best Tournament Conduct' award for the year 2015. The prestigious 'Player of the Year 2015' award was given to Dawood Kodi from Seven Star.

MCA president thanked everybody for their full support. After the conclusion of the meeting, a 30 yard cricket was organized from 13 MCA members team and a president XI team. Raisco Friends were the champions and Eagle Riyadh was the runner-up.

Abdul Rahman, Azeez Bankal, Akthar Sheikh – disciplinary committee,
Yunus, Abubakar Padubidri, Sheikh Abbas, Salam - advisors
