Ambareesh tries to broker peace between Darshan and wife

Bengaluru, Mar 12 (DHNS): Veteran actor and Housing Minister Ambareesh on Friday intervened to ease marital discord between Sandalwood actor Darshan and his wife Vijayalakshmi.

Ambareesh spoke separately over phone to Darshan and Vijayalakshmi and advised them to forget differences, stay together and lead a happy life. He also suggested them not to speak to media as it would only worsen the situation.

Ambareesh has decided to meet the two personally to discuss and end their marital conflict. Darshan and Vijayalakshmi have promised Ambareesh that they would follow his advice.

Darshan is likely to appear before the CK Achchukattu police and State Women’s Commission on Saturday.

The Commission and the police had expected the actor to appear for a questioning on Friday, but the actor expressed helplessness in appearing for the inquiry as he was in Mysuru.

The police have served a notice on him directing him to appear for the inquiry on Saturday and the actor is likely to follow the directive, DCP (South) B S Lokesh Kumar said.

Amidst growing animosity between the two, an audio clip having the voice resembling that of Darshan went viral on social media and a few television channels did refer to it.

Vijayalakshmi clarified that it was not Darshan’s voice and said that Darshan never used such unparliamentary words.

“We have been married for the last 13 years and I do agree that we share differences, but my husband has never used such words. I suspect the involvement of a third person in creating a rift between us,” she said.

She sharply reacted to Darshan’s claims that he did not father her son and said that she was ready for a DNA test only to prove that she conceived Darshan’s baby.

Darshan left for Mysuru on Thursday and is likely to return to Bengaluru on Saturday. He is staying at a hotel owned by MLC Sandesh Nagaraj, sources said.

This marriage problem should be solved between Darshan and his wife and not by Ambareesh or any third party unless they know the root cause of this.

Why is this even a news? How pathetic the state ruled Cong is . Siddu sleeps in the parliment. Ambareesh lives on tax payers money. His medical expenses too for the ailment due to heavy boozing was waived off by Siddu, and the brunt once again had to be borne once by the common man. And now he is trying to show cause him as a good samaritan.

Every relationship goes threw rough patch , but easy / cake walk for wives . Its very easy for them to walk out , just file a fake dv / 498a , then its all win -win situation , divorce with fat alimony . But if a man ( husband ) has affairs and tries to walk out , again he will b threatened with FIR , will get summoned by police . The law / judiciary / police works heavily against men , all we need is IPC clauses which r gender neutral where the harassment by wives also criminally punished .
