Kundapur: 25-year-old killed in accident at Navunda

Kundapur, Mar 15: A youth was killed after a Mahindra vehicle rammed into his bike on national highway 66 at Navunda in Byndoor here on Tuesday March 15.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Shahif (25), son of Abdul Wahid, a resident near Navunda mosque.

It is learnt that while Shahif was riding on the highway, a Mahindra Maxximo mini truck suddenly entered the highway from a bylane and rammed into Shahif's bike.

A seriously injured Shahif was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced brought dead.

Shahif owned a fancy store and he was on the way to the store when the accident took place, sources said.

Byndoor police have registered a case.

Shahif leaves behind his parents and a brother.
