The IT officials are underdogs in front of mighty and powerful politicians, godman, bureaucrats and gangsters. IT do not have enough manpower. They usually go after small flies or possibly these flies invite them to carry out the raids to clear them. Hardly anyone has gone to jail or their assets or their relatives/associates illegal assets are confiscated. It is a hog wash.

This job should be outsourced to FBI or Stockholm police on commission basis. One can see the real results then.

If the same Income Tax dept had raided all those Karnataka MLAs & MLCs who voted for Vijay Mallya for Rajya Sabha, then the black money paid as bribe to those MLA/MLCs by Malya would have been detected, and he would have been disqualified for Rajya Sabha, and later on he would not have dared to start Kingfisher Airlines and loot the Banks to the tune of 9000 crores.

But now they own big Cars,Apartments,Commercial Buildings,Houses worth Crores. When raided please check how the MCC sanctioned Ward Money is spent with Fraud Bills.

I always fail to understand why we only blame politicians? Why we don't blame the people who give them money?

Do all businessman pay tax as per law? How much hera-pheri they do? Vijay Mallya is best example.

We common people need to be blamed for Politicians growth. We speak bad about them on their back. Can anyone got guts to speak on their face (not me).

Knowing all politicians are murderers/chors/looters then too see how much respect they get. Can we stop this? (If anyone tries then his bones also wont get to see)

So raids/chapa is all for name sake. They will go to jail and come out after few days/months and business will go as before.

This is the way you have to start bringing back black money to the system. Charge them under criminal offence (non bailable till they give proper explanation for the income) if you find any black money.

Exactly ! Like that loot of the habitual offender in Chikkodi - that wasn't reported to the police ! Reason is that the cash was a loot by the politician and he must have been happy that he got rid of a part of it.

Has anybody seen a politician scaling down to be a pauper ? Never ! No matter belonging to which party, politicians are constantly climbing up the wealth ladder.

Frequent raids such as this are ample medicine to their epidemic because they tend have so much unaccounted for revenue that they lose track of filing tax for it.
