There are lots of granite quarries around that area who regularly use
detonators to blast. Also new water wells are dug and granite being blast removed this time of the year. As all of we know earth is made of different layers and formations, this may be one of those cases where all of the trapped energy due to above activities released at one time.

Nothing will happen anything in Bailoor. Only one good restayrant around. Gadiyar Hotel..wherein you will get Biscuit Ambude..which is my favourite. From here you can go to shilpa shettys home as well as of director rohit shettys.home. Ancestral.home even of Shri Santosh Hegde. Beautiful place surrounding..kanjar ranganpalke palli neere bailoor and others. Still to develop. Nearby Gadiyar Hotel earlier home of Bailoor Husseinji. Now taken over by syndicate bank.

    People,

We had Tirupati(Sripati) Bhat restaurant in Belman...I think he is no more now...

His Biscuit Ambade was also very tasty...only problem...they were becoming smaller day by day for mysterious reasons...which motivated me to calculate the volume of Sphere in Geometry....

He had a white cow...I had seen many times she(Cow) putting her mouth in Potato mix of masaladosa and eating it...and Tirupati Bhat chasing the cow....Hilarious scene during my High School...I could never forget it...
