London, March 21 (IANS): Actor Alex Pettyfer and model Marloes Horst have called it quits after dating for nearly two years.
Both of them have cited hectic schedules as the reason of their separation, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"I wouldn't normally do this as I like to keep my life private. Despite what may be written, Marloes and I split up due to her being a crazy hot supermodel and her and my work just keeping us apart,” Pettyfer wrote on Instagram alongside a photograph of the duo.
Pettyfer said that it was a "mutual decision".
“We are incredibly close and love each other tremendously. We are best friends and who knows what the future holds," he added.
Horst also shared the same image on her own page along with a caption: "Despite of what some papers may say, Alex and I split due to our busy schedules.”
