Shahid Kapoor garners four million Instagram followers


Mumbai, Mar 26 (IANS): Shahid Kapoor has amassed a following of four million followers on Instagram and the actor has thanked his fans and well wishers for showering all the love on him.

The actor, who ventured into Hindi cinema in 2003 with the film "Ishq Vishk", took to Instagram to share a photograph thanking his fans for their support.

"4 million. Thank you, thank you, thank you," Shahid captioned the image.

Shahid is an avid user of social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. He keeps sharing details about his personal and professional life to stay connected with his fans.

The “Kaminey" star was last seen on the big screen in the 2015 film “Shaandaar” along with his actor father Pankaj Kapur, his half-sister Sanah Kapur and Alia Bhatt.

Shahid is currently prepping for his next film "Udta Punjab", an upcoming neo-noir drama thriller film directed by Abhishek Chaubey, which also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt. The film tells the story of substance abuse in the Indian state of Punjab.

The "Haider" actor is also filming the period romance drama film "Rangoon", which also stars actress Kangana Ranaut and is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
