Mumbai: 62-year-old held for abusing pre-teen


Mumbai, Mar 27: Kurar Police Station on Saturday arrested a 62-year-old man, accused of sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy.

According to the police, the accused has been renting a first-floor space for the last 30 years in the victim’s home. During investigations, it was revealed that he had been abusing the survivor for two months.

According to a police officer, “On Friday evening, when the accused was showing the victim a pornographic clip on his phone, the survivor’s mother walked in. She beat her child and later, the man.”

A case has been registered under section 377 of the IPC and The POSCO Act 2012.
