Muscat: Karnataka Brothers holds Bandhavya - 2016

Muscat, Mar 28: A brotherhood, fraternity family get-together programme 'Bandhavya - 2016' was conducted by Karnataka Brothers on Friday March 25 at Barka Farm House under the guidance of the region's Social Forum.


















Most of the Karnataka Brothers gathered to make this programme which was packed with games, sports, quiz etc a success. In order to enliven the sweet memories of old childhood, ‘Goodangadi’, ‘Charmuri stall’, ‘Thatti hotel’, Omlette shops were put up. The amazing taste of these dishes was appreciated by all. In order to maintain the genuinity and flavour of the food, Social Forum Muscat decided to get all the requirements for these stalls from their hometown itself. Apart from the above mentioned dishes, a buffet dinner which was cooked and served by members of the forum was arranged in the compound of the farmhouse. A rural village atmosphere was felt throughout the programme.

The programme included games for children and funny games for men and women. Stage programmes like stage skit, duff etc were special attractions for the audience.

On this auspicious occasion the chief guest, Aslam Hassan, the state committee member of Social Democratic Party of India Karnataka state spoke a few words about the forum and he praised the brotherhood and hard work of the members. He felicitated them saying that the success of this programme is due to their unity and teamwork. Later the president of Social Forum- Muscat, Anwar Moodbidre gave a talk on the help and legal guidance rendered to the needy people.

Social Forum Oman National President Hameed Panemangalore, president of Indian Pravasi forum, Yusuf Hyder Mukka, state vice president of Social Forum Janab Mohidin Saheb Sastan were present. Prizes were distributed to the winners.

Ansar Katipalla led the programme and Noor Muhammed Padubidre welcomed the guests.
