'Balika' suicide : Rahul had another girlfriend, claims their security in-charge

Mumbai, Apr 3 (IT) : Pratyusha Banerjee's society security in-charge, Sandeep has claimed that Rahul had another girlfriend, and that the couple used to fight only when she visited their house, reports Aaj Tak.

"Rahul and Pratyusha did not fight otherwise. They only fought when Rahul's other girlfriend used to come. Once when she came to the society, Pratyusha hit her. And then, she called the cops," says Sandeep.

Pratyusha Banerjee's body was found hanging from the ceiling of her Bangur Nagar house in Mumbai's Kandivali area on April 1, Friday. Her body was discovered by her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, who then rushed her to Kokilaben Hospital, where she was declared brought dead. No suicide note has been discovered as yet. Neighbours and friends who personally knew the actress are in disbelief and feel that she was too strong and happy a person to have committed suicide.

While Pratyusha's good friends Ajaz Khan and Dolly Bindra are crying foul over Pratyusha Banerjee's death, her parents have recorded their statement with the police. The actress' parents have claimed that Rahul used to abuse Pratyusha.

A couple of Whatsapp screenshots doing the rounds on web suggest that Rahul ill-treated Pratyusha and even used to monitor her phone.
