Kasargod: Man from Bantwal dies after KSRTC bus hits bike

Kasargod, Apr 3: A man from Bantwal was killed in an accident at Arikkady, Kumble here on Sunday April 3.

The deceased has been identified as Madhava Nayak (32), a resident of Koripady in Bantwal.

The accident took place when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus hit Madhava's bike from behind.

It is learnt that Madhava had come to Arikkady to attend a wedding. When he reached near Arikkady Hanuman Temple, a KSRTC bus hit Madhava's bike. Madhava who was thrown on to the road sustained serious injuries, and even though he was rushed to hospital, he could not be saved.

Kumble police have registered a case.

    It is time to take decision for changing the law for life imprisonment minimum for accident killing or injure a person and full insurance claim 50,00,000/- for the death/injured as early as possible.Widen road with 1.5 meter height closed/(70%close30% open in each side) divider and three track in one side and 100 meter radius in road turning,diverted over bridge for U turning and crossing in free space in high way. Govt. must take the responsibility (14.5 % tax is taking from beggar basket also) of each accident,license should be issued to full visible safety obeying driving. All main road entry to left side and crossing in U turn/round only,minimum and maximum speed must be limited to all tracks, 20 km in rushed area and market places walk way should be separated with 12 inch height concrete cub stone from road with side rail up to road crossing traffic rules included in school studies and driving in 10th class like N C C and guide class .Hump in all crossing round and sign board for route and market place,no parking in main road except service road one shop side parking space only.All bus stop and taxi place road side should extended to side wise.all regular stopping buses and sharing auto use only 1st and 2nd track only.
