Bengaluru, Apr 4: Security in Bengaluru has been tightened following reports that a few ultras have entered the city with the intention of carrying out terror attacks. But the police have dismissed the reports on the 'terrorists' entering the city,

It was reported that 3 terrorists had entered the city a few days back and the central intelligence agencies have 'alerted' the city police about it.

The police said that there has been no specific alert about terror attacks or ultras entering the city. But security has been tightened in sensitive areas, they said.
The police did not confirm the reports that a team from the National Investigating Agency (NIA) has visited the city in search of ultras.

Police statement says "There are no threats and Bengalureans need not panic during the time of the festival this weekend. The police have made elaborate security arrangements. Steps would be taken to thwart any attempts by anybody to spread violence. We request the citizens to alert us about any suspicious objects or movement."
