Mumbai, Apr 4: Bharath Cooperative Bank assistant manager, Shanker Suvarna retired on March 31 after 31 years of service. He served in the audit and risk management department of the head office during his retirement.


The send off programme was held at the head office presided by the bank's managing director and CEO C R Mulki. C R Mulki draped a shawl around Shanker Suvarna and presented a memento on the occasion.

The bank's chief general manager Anil Kumar R Ameen, general manager Shobha Dayanand, Nithyananda D Kotian, deputy general manager V S Shanbhag, Mohandas Hejmadi, Vidyananda S Karkera, Dinesh B Salian, Nithayananda Kirodian, Prabhakar G Suvarna, Navinchandra Bangera, Vishwanath G Suvarna, assistant general managers Janardhan Poojary, Sathish M Bangera, senior officials and staff wished Shanker Suvarna a happy retired life.
