Bengaluru: Fr Joseph Dolphy Pais re-elected provincial of Karnataka Capuchins

Bengaluru, Apr 6: Fr Joseph Dolphy Pais has been re-elected the provincial minister of the Franciscan Capuchins of Holy Trinity Province-Karnataka.

He was elected during the 7th provincial chapter of the Karnataka Capuchins of Holy Trinity Province, held at Shanthi Sadhana, Bengaluru.

Fr Pais holds a doctorate in spirituality and is the programme director at Franciscan Institute of Spirituality, India, based in Bengaluru. He was born at Banakal in the diocese of Chikkamagaluru but later shifted to Bengaluru.

Fr John Alwyn Dias was re-elected the vicar provincial and Fr Peter Cyprian D'Souza, Fr Paul Melwyn D'Souza and Fr Salvadore Fernandes were elected the councillors for the triennium.
