Is Hrithik Roshan blackmailig Kangana Ranaut ?

Mumbai, Apr 8 (IT) : Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan's legal battle doesn't seem to be seeing a closure any time soon. Now, the latest development in the case is Kangana's lawyer sending the Commissioner of Police, Mumbai, a complaint against Hrithik Roshan seeking his arrest.

Kangana, who has accused Hrithik and his legal team of slut-shaming her by leaking her personal mails and photographs, has said blackmailing or threatening her won't work as it doesn't scare her "...blackmailing or threatening wont work with me. Though my legal team is taking strict actions against blackmailing and threatening me, but as a girl it doesn't scare me. You wont get a sorry by threatening me or circulating my love poems, letters or images," said Kangana, who has written to Commissioner of Police seeking Hrithik's arrest for releasing her letters and photographs to the media.

"I am not ashamed of anything, not my past, not my affairs, not my body and most definitely not my desire. So slut-shaming wont work either. If they want an apology then they have to come to the point, beating about the bush wont help, me and my team are eager to help as hurting sentiments isn't our intention," she said. The legal and public fight has been going on for more than a month between the two actors but no one seems to be in the mood to relent.

"In a legal matter, only on-record statements can be addressed not gossip. So here's my final word: If the other party who sued me for defamation and asked for a public apology can prove defamation, I promise to apologise publicly. I request the other party to respond to the legal matter which they have started and not turn this defamation suit into a media trial and judgment," Kangana told a entertainment and fashion web portal.

The 29-year-old actor said that if Hrithik is sincerely seeking an apology, then he and his team must help her understand their perspective.

Initially, the war between the two started in the media but in February, Hrithik sent a legal notice asking her to publicly apologise for referring to him as 'silly ex' in an interview. He also accused her of wrongly claiming to have had a relationship with him, saying their relationship was strictly professional. The actor also filed a cyber complaint, claiming someone was impersonating him and talking to people on his behalf.

Kangana, on her part, slapped a counter legal notice saying she was not ashamed of her relationship and she had not named him in her interview hence there was no case of defamation.
