Mumbai: Model Bank elects new office bearers

Mumbai, Apr 8: Model Cooperative Bank Limited in the city which was started by coastal origin Roman Catholic leaders about hundred years ago by the name 'The Mangalore Catholic Credit Society Limited' recently elected their new office bearers for the period 2016-2019.






Albert W D'Souza, Pangla was re-elected as executive president William J Sequeira, executive vice president; Vincent Mathais, director; Benedicta Rebello, Marina D'Mello, Abraham Clement Lobo, Thomas D'Lobo, Paul Nazareth, Sanjay Shinde, advocate Pius Vas, Lawrence D'Souza Mulund, Jerald Cardoza, Ancy S D'Souza, Ronald H Mendonsa were elected directors. George Castelino was elected deputy director.

The bank has proposed centenary celebrations. Executive president Albert D'Souza has said that farsightedness of the founders and cooperation of shareholders, customers and well wishers has helped
them achieve this feat.
