Mangaluru: Permission denied again for Dr Zakir Naik's programme

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Apr 11: The state government, which had denied permission to scholar, Dr Zakir Naik's programme that was proposed to be held in the city during December last, has again struck down a proposal to hold this programme during this month.

Dr Naik's programme had been slated to be held at Nehru Maidan here on December 27, but the city police commissioner had requested the organizers to put off the programme in view of legislative council election. The date of the programme was changed to January 2, but Vishwa Hindu Parishat leaders had expressed opposition to the programme.

It is said that when a delegation of South Karnataka Salafi Movement, which had sought to organize the programme, met the home minister then to impress upon him to grant permission, the delegation membrs were told that necessary permission would be granted to hold the programme during March this year in view of zilla and taluk panchayat elections scheduled during February.

The delegation went to Bengaluru again recently and sought permission from the chief minister and home minister for the said programme, placing before them a plan to hold the said programme during April. They were told that permission cannot be granted because of opposition from some Muslim leaders from Congress party, intelligence inputs, advice of the chief minster's adviser, etc.

Vice president of South Karnataka Salafi Movement's central committee, Ismail Shaffi, has termed this as an insult to the constitution of the country as this has robbed Muslims of their religious freedom. He further said that the chief minister and home minister, who had in the past promised to give permission to hold this programme, have betrayed the trust reposed on them by Muslims.

    Dear brothers,

Truth is bitter! and hurts right?

No compulsion on religion, that is what Islam teaches. Even our constitution has given us the freedom of faith. The question is what is the problem in learning the truth. Research and you may accept the truth and reject the falsehood. Nobody compel you.

To be frank, it is crystal clear that Dr. Zakir Naik is a simple, dedicated, logical preacher who preaches on the basis of research, logic, teachings of holy book and scientific ways. Don’t accept him blindly. Listen to him carefully, study, research and then only accept the truth of this life and hereafter.

Life is too short. We don’t have to be biased and no need to display hatred on Scientific logical preacher like Dr. Zakir Naik. Masha Allah! he is too good in Qura’n, Bible and Vedas. His lectures are wonderful with amazing facts of this life and hereafter.

Why people or political parties are biased on him? Please listen to this Doctor carefully with free mind, you will wonder with the ways this Doctor has been trying to preach the facts of this life and the life after.

Please try to come out from the unnecessary mis conceptions about this great preacher and appreciate his good work which he has been carrying out for the sake of entire global human beings at large.

    May God guide us all.

Religion is best kept and practiced within the four walls of ones home, temple, church or mosque and not brought to the streets!
The likes of Dr Zakir Naik, Asaduddin & Akbaruddin Owaisi, Pravin Togadia, Kalladka Prabakar Bhat, Mohan Bhagwat, Raj and Udhav Thackeray etc, etc as well as extremists organisations like Sangh Parivar, Bajrang Dal, Rama Sena, etc etc should be banished from the face of this earth!

@PenMightierThanSword, For muslims, Islam is a way to follow in all aspects of life since one’s birth and until his death and not at all limited to just house and masjid.
At the same time Islam asks Muslims to preach Islam to all human beings (but without forcing them to practice the same). Its upto each individual to accept or reject it.
