Mumbai, Apr 11: Billava community in an attempt to unite various artistes and emerging writers under one umbrella, launched Billava Sahitya Kala Vedike at Rotary Club auditorium, Thane west, Ghantali on Saturday afternoon April 9. Billava Jagruthi Balaga mouthpiece Guruthu honorary editor Babu Shiva Poojary lit the traditional lamp and inaugurated the programme.





Well known author, literary thinker Ravi R Anchan, social workers Parameshwara Poojary and Gulabi Babu Poojary, Panju Gangolli, Simanthooru Chandrahasa Suvarna and C A Poojary were on the dais.

Literary and entertainment programmes were held on the occasion. Billava Jagruthi Balaga president N T Poojary, vice president Purushothama S Kotian, Chitrapu K M Kotian, Nagaraja Gurupura, Jaya C Poojary, S Daya, Gopal Trasi, Sadananda Anchan Thane, Hema Sadananda Ameen, Billava authors and literary enthusiasts were present on the occasion.
