Mangalore: CSI Kanthi Church Celebrates Harvest Festival

Mangalore, Oct 10: C S I (Church of South India) Kanthi Church celebrated ‘Harvest Festival’ on the Wednesday October 10.

It is a festival of offering of first fruits and all the produce of the land that the God has given. It observed as a thanksgiving ceremony of the congregation as well as an annual get-together.

Rev Vinayalal Bangera preached on the occasion and all the offerings were placed on the altar.

This thanksgiving day was highlighted with singing of praises and hymns to God.

    I guess this is for the first time photos of harvest festival @ our Kanthi Church is being published on the net! I wish we will soon have CSI/KSD/Various churches on the net with regular updates on all the activites. This will help all the members who are spread across the world to be updated on all the activities and be in touch with the roots. May god make this a reality soon and bless everyone.

    Very nice pics but it would have been really great if pics from some other churches would be covered as well. Harvest has always been fun , especially bcos of the games conducted. Keep up the good work. God Bless!!

    Its really great to see the pictures through Daijiworld. We used to visit Jeppu Church quite often, especially for Harvest festival and even today the same trend is carried in stronger way. Keep it going and have a Blessed Harvest. Joy S Karkada
