Bahrain, Apr 13: The newly elected Kannada Sangha committee kick-started their activities by organizing Satyanarayan Pooja at the THMC Auditorium, Krishna Temple, Manama on the auspicious occasion of New Year's day as per Hindu calendar, April 8.
The Pooja ceremony was conducted by Phanindra Kumar very religiously with much devotion and was attended by more than 1000 people. The devotees participated in the rituals of the religious ceremony and considered themselves blessed to be part of this grand ceremony.
The beautiful floral decoration made up of more than 1000 roses on the altar of Lord Satyanarayan, captured each and everyone's attention. 'Bhajan', devotional songs with music and 'Harivana prasadam' seva were the other attractions.
The Pooja concluded with the distribution of 'prasadam' to the devotees.
