Mangaluru, Apr 14: If you are an aspiring singer in any of the local languages of Mangaluru, or in Hindi, here's a golden opportunity you cannot afford to miss. Daijiworld Audio Visual Pvt Ltd is all geared up to present 'Daijiworld Studio Voice', a unique studio singing reality show where singers in different languages can showcase their talents and win a ticket to fame.

In perhaps the first of its kind contest in the entire country, amateur singers in Hindi, Konkani, Kannada, Tulu and Beary languages will be brought together on a common platform. The contest will not only provide opportunity to budding singers, but also promote the music in regional languages.

The contest is open for amateur singers aged 15 or above as on April 30, 2016.

The first round of auditions will be held at Rohan Corporation, Balmatta Road (next to Hotel Maya International), Mangaluru on April 30 and May 1. The second round of the contest, which will entail studio singing, will be held at Daijiworld's state-of-the-art Audio-Visual Studio, located at Daijiworld Residency, Bondel.

Those selected for the third round will be trained by mentors.

The winner will be crowned 'Daijiworld Studio Voice - 2016' and take home a cash prize of Rs 50,000. 

What's more, the winner will also get an opportunity to sing for a movie. The second and third prize winners will be get cash prizes of Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively, and all the top three contestans will get trophies.

The last date to register is April 25, 2016.

Daijiworld Audio-Visual Studio, inaugurated in September 2015 by Shankar Mahavadevan's son Siddharth Mahadevan, is the only professional studio of its kind in this region. Equipped with high-end technology designed to produce the best sound, the studio in a short span has already recorded several music albums in local languages, commercials and recorded music and dubbing for Tulu and Konkani movies. The studio caters to artistes looking to produce music albums, short films, telefilms, teasers, movie dubbing/editing, advertisements, documentary, background music, sound design, and also for mixing and mastering, voice-overs, video editing and much more.


Rules and Regulations:

- Contestant must be at least 15 years of age as on April 30, 2016. Maximum age no bar.
- Contestants must be amateurs and not professionals (a professional is one whose talent is the principal source of income).
- Contestant can sing in Hindi, Kannada, Tulu, Konkani and Beary languages only. 
- Contestants must submit an entry form available on daijiworld.com (online) or at Daijiworld offices at Airport Road, Bondel / Divya Deepa Arcade, Bendorewell / Kishoo Enterprises, 3rd Floor, Mandavi Trade Centre, Kadiyali, Udupi.
- Registration fees of Rs 250 is applicable for each entry.
- Only one person can contest per application form.
- Judges/management reserves the right to disqualify any contestant whose language (lyrics), behaviour, attire do not meet family entertainment standards and entry fee will not be refunded in the event of their disqualification.
- For the first round, accompaniment/musician will be provided by the organisers.
- From second round onwards, contestant must get their own music track in MP3 or WAV format.
- Judges' decision is final.
- If selected for the third round, the contestant should be available for training by mentors, which will be held on Saturday / Sunday afternoons. 
- The first round / selection round will be held at Rohan Corporation, Balmatta Road, Beside Maya International, Mangaluru on April 30 and May 1, 2016. 
- The competition (recording) from second round onwards will be held at Daijiworld Audio-Visual Studio at Airport Road, Bondel, Mangaluru - 575008.
- The organisers reserve the right to make changes in these rules if required.
- Last date of registration: April 25, 2016.
