Big B a super actor and now family: Rishi Kapoor


Mumbai, Apr 14 (IANS); Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who was last seen onscreen in "Kapoor & Sons", has called megastar Amitabh Bachchan a super actor and also a part of his family.

Rishi and Amitabh have worked together in hits like "Amar Akbar Anthony", "Ajooba", "Naseeb", "Kabhie Kabhie" and "Coolie".

A Twitter user had shared a photograph of the star duo on Wednesday, when the 1991 film "Ajooba" completed 25 years of its release in Hindi cinema.

"Rishi ji and Amitabh ji...Now and before 25 years in the film 'Ajooba' that Celebrates 25 years," the user wrote.

Rishi replied on his post by labelling the 73-year-old cine icon "great colleague and a fantastic human"

"Thank you Moses for this wonderful reminder. Super actor, great colleague fantastic human and now family- Amitabh Bachchan," Rishi tweeted on Wednesday night.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently shooting for Shoojit Sircar's "Pink", which also stars Taapsee Pannu.

The thespian will also be seen sharing screen space with actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan in Ribhu Dasgupta's directorial "TE3N".

Rishi, on the other hand, has been lauded for essaying the role of a nonagenarian effortlessly in "Kapoor & Sons".
