Karkala, Apr 14: A HDFC bank assistant manager lost his life in a bike accident in Miyar near here on Thursday, April 14.
The name of the deceased is Franklin D’Cunha (25) from Dharegudde in Moodbidri. It is said that he was travelling in his newly bought bike to his sister’s house in Miyar when the accident took place.
Franklin had left Moodbidri at around 10 am and accident occured at 11.15 am at Kariakallu in Miyar when the bike hit an electric pole.
Seriously injured Franklin was immediately rushed to Karkala government hospital. From there, while he was being taken to Manipal for further treatment, he breathed his last.
