Dubai, Apr 17: Thumbay Hospital – Dubai, the leading academic hospital owned and operated by Thumbay Group UAE, is all set to conduct an exciting event exclusively for new and expectant moms on Friday, April 29, from 4 pm onwards.
Titled ‘Mom’s Day Out’, the event promises to be a fun-filled evening with a number of contests, informative sessions, games, exhibitions and activities, all designed to entertain and educate the participants.
‘Mom’s Day Out’ is conceived as a complete event for new and expectant moms, with activities across four zones, viz., Diet & Nutrition Zone, Awareness & Information Zone, Health & Wellness Zone and Happiness Zone. The Diet & Nutrition Zone will have healthy cooking demo, cooking competition, food craft activity and market stalls.
The Awareness & Information Zone will feature exhibitions and informative talks by experts. The Health & Wellness Zone will showcase Yoga/Pilates station, Body & Soul Spa Station, Hair & Makeup, Henna and Pottery Stations. Super Moms Contest, on-the-spot contests and prizes and easel painting craft activity for moms will be included in the Happiness Zone. There will also be a children’s play area and fun activities to entertain kids.
Registration at the event is completely free. In addition to learning more about pregnancy and clearing misconceptions, participants also get to appreciate prenatal and antenatal products and facilities firsthand. A wide range of baby stuff, beauty products, nutritional supplements, organic foods, maternity clothing and accessories, pregnancy/parenting books etc. will also be on display. Visitors will also be able to book Thumbay Hospital’s specially discounted maternity package, irrespective of their stage of pregnancy.
A Facebook contest titled ‘Are you a Supermom?’ is also being conducted by as part of the event. Registrations and voting for the contest are currently open at Thumbay Hospital’s official Facebook page, and winners, whose names will be declared on the event day, stand to win cool prizes.
The Thumbay Hospital network has been regularly conducting health and wellness events for new, expectant and experienced moms at its hospitals in Dubai, Ajman, Sharjah and Fujairah. The hospitals also offer discounted delivery packages time and again, as part of their CSR activities. ‘Mom’s Day Out’ is a very popular annual event of Thumbay Hospitals, which attracts participants and visitors from all over the UAE.
