Mangaluru: Foundation laid for 'Vandana Callisto'; 'Diya Residency' inaugurated

Mangaluru, Apr 17: The foundation stone laying ceremony for 'Vandana Callisto' and inauguration ceremony of 'Diya Residency', a luxury apartment project by Divakar Constructions were held at Kulshekar here on Sunday April 17.

The foundation stone was laid by SCDCC Bank chairman Dr M N Rajendra Kumar, while MD of KMF Dr Sathyanarayana inaugurated 'Diya Residency’.

 

Administrator of FMMC Fr Ajith Menezes blessed the occasion while puja rituals were performed earlier in the day.

Addressing the gathering, Rajendra Kumar said, "Divakar Constructions has successfully completed various projects in field of construction and today it is celebrating its 25th year since inception. It has given beautiful buildings with quality and timely completion which has made the company so successful today. This apartment is located in a very peaceful and eco-friendly environment. I wish peace, happiness and good health to all the families who will be residing here in this apartment."

Dr B V Sathyanarayana said, "Divakar Constructions has chosen an ideal location. This is a very good and peaceful locality. The apartment has been constructed beautifully and it has enhanced the beauty of this locality. I wish Divakar constructions all success and wish it takes up more projects in the future."

Former mayor Shashidar Hegde said, "Mangaluru is growing at a fast pace, and has been identified as the third cleanest city in the nation.     Now is a good time to book or purchase an apartment since the price is more or less stagnant.

    Material, labour and taxes will gradually increase in India and our belief that Govt will provide houses to all by 2022 is just a misnomer.

    Govt will give the increased subsidy for only BPL and subvention of interest only for small houses/apartments and with a limit on loan amount.

    For you and me, it is still "Apna haath Jagannath."
