Josh Charles to return for 'The Good Wife' series finale?

Los Angeles, Apr 18 (IANS): Actor Josh Charles is reportedly returning to reprise his role as the late Will Gardner in “The Good Wife” series finale.

According to TVLine, the actor will appear opposite actress Julianna Margulies' role as Alicia in a newly-created flashback sequence, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Charles' character was killed off in season 5 of the CBS show as he exited the legal drama series because he was "ready to move on to the next chapter".

He returned to direct an episode in season 6.

CBS has yet to confirm Charles' return.
