She was first seen playing the daughter of Prerna (Shweta Tiwari) and Anurag Basu's daughter in the show. Shriya was just three years old when she joined the industry and has completed 15 long years in the industry.

She made her debut on the big screen in Telugu film Jai Chiranjeeva, wherein she played the role of Lavanya. She has also featured in Hidni films including, 'Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic', 'Laaga Chunari Mein Daag', 'Knock Out' and 'Chillar Party'.
