Udupi: Congress leader Prakash M Kodavoor no more

Udupi, Apr 21: Prakash M Kodavoor (54), an entrepreneur from the city, breathed his last at KMC Hospital Manipal on Thursday April 21 morning.

He was the honorary vice president (VP) of Karnataka State Badminton Association and secretary of district Congress committee. He was also an office bearer of Billava Association and secretary of the district badminton association.

Prakash had participated in a badminton tournament held at Chandigarh as the manager of the state team recently and had come back three days back. As he suffered from symptoms of heart-related ailment, he had been admitted into the hospital. The doctors had inserted a stent in the artery. Prakash was showing symptoms of recovery, but his condition suddenly deteriorated today morning and he breathed his last, it is gathered.

Prakash M Kodavoor is survived by two daughters and wife. He had lot of fan following. Scores people, who grieved over untimely demise of this popular personality, made a beeline to pay their last respects to the departed soul and share grief with his family.

    My classmate,neighbour and friend of school days , after many many years had met him in August 2015 all of a sudden. Took a snap to celebrate the meeting . But alas he is gone. Strange but true, have to accept it.
