Zac Efron back to TV with MTV documentary


Los Angeles, April 22 (IANS): Actor Zac Efron is heading back to the small screen, almost a decade after he starred in Disney Channel's "High School Musical".

The 28-year-old actor will host a documentary special on MTV, in addition to serving as executive producer along with Michael Simkin, Jason Barrett, Brian Volk-Weiss, Cisco Henson and Edwin Zane, reports aceshowbiz.com.

According to the official description, the yet-to-be-titled show "explores how food has moved to the center of millennial culture through his own unique lens as an actor, traveler and food lover". 

Efron is currently busy filming "Baywatch" movie in which he stars alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Kelly Rohrbach, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Ilfenesh Hadera and Hannibal Buress.
