Kundapur: Over 800 aspirants secure jobs at MIT-K 'Udyoga Mela'

Kundapur, Apr 30: One of the prestigious educational institutes of Udupi district, Moodlakatte Technological University, Kundapur held a day long MIT-K 'Udyoga Mela' (Job Fair) on Saturday April 30.

More than 30 well known companies and more than 2,000 candidates participated in the fair.

Infosys, Accenture, Emphasis, Vipro, Vodafone, Bharath Automative, Suzlan, Flocareer, S V Infra, Ujwalam Softech, Defodel, Mahindra Automative, Axis Bank, Canbank Services, Nakshatra Construction, Intel net, Manappuram, Oriental Bel, Sri Rajeshwari & Co, East India Private Limited, Discovery Kids, Aegis, Magna Infotec, KVB, HCL, TML and other companies participated in the fair.

Addressing the gathering, chief guest, minister of urban development, Vinay Kumar Sorake said, "MIT-K job fair is a good forum for job aspirants. I congratulate Moodlakatte Technological University president Siddartha J Shetty on holding the fair."

Another chief guest Ramanand Nayak, joint director, district industries centre speaking on the occasion said that he will be providing all the necessary help to establish skill development centre of the college in the years to come.

College principal, Prof Sathish S Amsadi gave details of MIT-K Job Fair. College civil engineering department head, Prof Shashikala compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks. 

Candidates qualified in science, arts, commerce, engineering, MBA, diploma and ITI participated in the fair.

More than 800 candidates secured jobs in top companies. Giving appointment letters on the spot to selected candidates was the specialty of Moodlakatte Job Fair.
