Mangaluru: Fire brigade saves woman who had fallen into well

Mangaluru, Apr 30: A woman, who had fallen into a well, was saved by the fire brigade on Saturday April 30 at Keregundi in Beluvai near Moodbidri.

Shobha (45), wife of Ananda Anchan, is the person saved from the well.

Shobha fell into the well by accident on Saturday morning. The well had a depth of 60 feet and a water level of 10 feet. A call was made to fire brigade in Moodbidri immediately after the accident took place. The fire brigade which rushed to the spot managed to take out Shobha from the well safely.

Fire brigade chief Praveen, main fire fighter Yogish and driver Chandrashekar participated in the operation.
