Mangaluru, May 3: In a sad incident, a youth succumbed to heart attack while driving his car at Kuntikan national highway here on Tuesday May 3.

The deceased has been identified as Kalandar (25), son of Aliabba and a resident near Vidyanagar government school, Panjimogaru.

Sources said that Kalandar had purchased the car just a few days back. The onlookers said that initially they thought the car was parked on the roadside just like any other vehicle. But as the driver seemed motionless, they checked and found him to be dead.

His family members were immediately informed and they rushed to the spot. His body was shifted to Wenlock hospital and the car was taken back to Kalandar's residence.

His relatives said that he had a heart problem since childhood but his condition had improved.

Kalandar is survived by his parents, three brothers and a sister. He had a catering business.

Kadri police visited the spot.

it wasn't in his control to even know that he was suffering from a heart ailment. He was just 25 years old. at this stage no one would have considered to get a check up done. All we could do now is to pray so that such things dont happen again. YOU cant stay with a person all the time.
