Bengaluru: PU paper leakage kingpin's craze for women led to arrest

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (EP)

Bengaluru, May 4: The kingpin of PU paper leakage scam Shivakumaraiah alias Guruji was nabbed at last on Tuesday, May 2 in city. It is now revealed that his craze for women helped the CID police to nab him. He had several girlfriends and was accustomed to posh living. He had gone into hiding after the leakage of question papers and had come to meet his girlfriends in Bengaluru when he was apprehended.

Shivakumaraiah, a former lecturer, had made selling of question papers before the examination dates as his main business for many years.

Shivakumaraiah had taken shelter in an under- construction building of his acquaintance when CID spread a net and arrested him. Some of his accomplices are still at large. He is in ten days CID custody as per orders from the court.

He was absconding after locking his house at Nandini Layout in city and was in touch with his accomplices using code words and used to respond to telephone calls only when code words such as 'Tomato 150' were uttered by the caller. He used to communicate by using code words 'Sauthekai', 'Thondekai' etc.

His girlfriends in Bengaluru and elsewhere in the state were aged between 16 and 40 years. He also used to address them through code words. Most of his girlfriends were married. He had accompanied a 35 years old girlfriend to Tannuru in Gubbi taluk and introduced her as his wife. He had kept the names of important cities in the country such as Nagpur, Bombay, and Darjeeling to his girlfriends. He never used their real names. He had named the girl who helped nab him as Nagpur.

An investigation into his call records showed that he had used the word 'Nagpur' several times in the conversation.

Investigations have revealed that he owns property worth Rs 4 crores. Some police sources said Shivakumaraiah may not be the real kingpin, but only an executor and there is a possibility that other big people are involved.

RGV may be willing to pay crores of rupees to Shivakumaraiah 'Guruji' for getting exclusive rights for making a movie on Guruji's colourful life.

Hope Guruji's bad example will not tempt others to go for shortcuts in life (and mess up the lives of others) which can only land a person in trouble or in jail.

This is not even the tip of the iceberg in the gaping holes in the Indian education system.

Everyone including the MCI and the Union Health Minister are fighting for a big piece of the cake whose price is being paid for by the poor Indians. And they will stop at nothing to take the biggest piece of cake that's why they have once again brought out NEET.

God help the poor Indian students and take care of these demons.

Jack of many trades. Lecturer used his brain work for diversified activities. Astonishing thing to know that some his girl friends are married and still flirting? Was he taking Pathanjali product to sustain?

Put him behind bars for ever. Nasty man unfit to live in civilized society. He is a danger element for others.
