Doha: KSQ to celebrate ‘Vasanthotsava’ on May 13

Doha, May 5: Karnataka Sangha Qatar, a social community group set to celebrate ‘Vasanthotsava’ on Friday May 13 at Al Maha Boys Academy, here.




Talking to media KSQ president H K Madhu revealed that this year the KSQ mega event ‘Vasanthotsava’ celebration will be a unique combination of Jnanothsava, Sangeethotsava and Hasyotsava.

Madhu explained that the programme will start at 4.00 pm and will be packed with excitement and entertainment, cultural fiesta of music, filmy tunes and classical fusion. The well known ‘Veena’ artiste Veena Varuni will be flown in from Bengaluru along with her troupe. Veena has performed in more than 5,000 Veena concerts world over and has bagged many felicitations and honors for her wide contribution to the music world. This event will be a mesmerization with beautiful tracks from her first time performance in the city.

The other highlights of the evening will be the ‘Hasyotsava’ where mimicry will fill the air with fun and laughter by a very famous mimicry artiste Gopi, who will enthrall the crowd with his mesmerizing talent. 

Madhu will express a note of gratitude to the dynamic personality Dr Naa Someswara (Thatt Antha Heli) quiz master- DD Chandana Kannada Channel, who will be gracing the event as Guest of Honor. Dr Naa Someswara is an encyclopedia and his contribution in medical and Kannada literary fields is exemplary. Thatt Antha Heli quiz will be entering its 3,000 th episode in June.

On behalf of KSQ management committee, Madhu invites all the Kannadigas to join in the Vasanthotsava celebration.
