Mangaluru: Tribute to Hindi legends - Mega show on May 29

Mangaluru, May 5: A mega show has been planned as a tribute to Hindi movie legends on May 29 at Town Hall here at 6 pm. This is one of the first musical shows after the renovation of Town Hall. It’s a rare opportunity to Hindi music lovers especially old songs.

Dubai-based entrepreneur Fernandes R Francis will be the chief guest of the function and will also inaugurate the programme.

Bollywood celebrity and former Miss India Poonam Dhillon will be the special invitee and guest of honour. She will travel specially for the function from Mumbai. Poonam has acted in hits like Noorie, Red Rose, Trishul, Sohni Mahiwal, Yeh Wada Raha, Naam, Teri Kasam and many more.

After the outstanding success of Rafi-Kishore Nite, Lata Nite, Yadon ki Baarat,Geet Gata Chal, the same group is presenting this mega show. Versatile popular singers like Shrikanth, Anita, Ranjan, Haneef, Akhila will be performing in their melodious voices. The group will sing evergreen yesteryear Hindi songs and take the audience down memory lane. The group has performed in India as well as abroad on previous occasions.

The show will be compered by Prem who is famous for these types of popular shows. Prem has vast knowledge about Hindi music and films. The show will have music by veteran music director Pappan.

The event is being supported by K- Lounge (Mangaluru), Ideals (Nagpur), Dhruv Arts (Mumbai), Power Way (Abu Dhabi), Vita, Thermo Cables (India), and Land Trades (Mangaluru).

Entry will be through passes. Free entry available.
