Delhi Tuluvas Accord Honour to Devdas Kapikad

New Delhi, Oct 21: 'Telikeda Bolli' Devdas Kapikad, famous Tulu actor, director, writer from Mangalore received honour from New Delhi-based Kannadigas' organization recently.

Devdas Kapikad was honored during the two popular Tulu plays "Dever Nadapaver" and "Suddi Malpodchi" staged in Karnataka Bhavana New Delhi.






Kapikad’s ‘Cha Parka’ team was on its maiden visit to New Delhi for staging their popular Tulu laugh-riots. The response was overwhelming as over 800 Tulu theatre-lovers attended the each play.

For his meritorious contribution to the promotion of Tulu Stage, five leading associtions in New Delhi, Karnataka Sangha, Tulu Nadu Development Forum, Brahma Shree Narayan Guru Seva Sangha, Bunts Cultural Association and Rajendra Nagar Kannada Balaga jointly honored Devdas Kapikad with a shawl and a memento.

M C Prasad, Prabhakar Bangera, Ram Mohan Rao, Anil Rao, Shiv Prasad Shetty, Krishna Bhat and others were present during the felicitation ceremony.

Karnire Mohan Rai, the dynamic organiser who is responsible for organizing all the outstation events of ’Cha parka’ team organized the event with the support of Karnataka Sangha.
