Pawan Shankar gets Bharat Excellence Award 2016


New Delhi, May 10 (IANS): Actor Pawan Shankar, who has appeared in TV shows like “Siddhanth”, “Vicky Ki Taxi” and “Kya Hua Tera Vaada”, was honoured with the Bharat Excellence Award 2016 for his contribution in the education sector.

The actor turned into an entrepreneur with his company Educationista. His company got the Indian Award For Excellence 2016 for being the fastest growing company in the education sector.

These awards were organised by Friendship Forum of India on April 25 at India International Centre here, read a statement. 

His other company Fashionista got third largest company in 'Multi-City category' across all industries by Exhibition Excellence Awards 2016. 

Shankar, an MBA in finance from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad and former national champion in table tennis India, has also starred in over 50 advertisements.
