Dubai: Yeddyurappa to inaugurate ‘Basava Jayanthi’ on May 13

Dubai, May 10: UAE Basava Samithi in association with Precious Parties & Entertainment services, is scheduled to host ‘Decennial Basava Jayanthi’ on May 13 at JSS Private School Al Safa, with the intention to impart awareness of Basava Tatwa, Basava culture and his values to the community. 

This being the tenth year, UAE Basava Samithi is celebrating this year in a grand scale. The function will be presided by Shri Ma Ni Pra Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji of Suttur Math, Mysore.

B S Yeddyurappa, former chief minister of Karnataka, president of BJP, Karnataka, has been invited as chief guest to the function. Other dignitaries & guest speakers are: Shri. Ma Ni. Pra. Dingaleshwara Mahaswamiji, Dingaleshwara Math, Balehosuru, Shri Ma Ni Pra. Basava Jaya Mruthunjaya Swamiji Panchamasaali Peeta, Koodala Sangama, Aravind Jatti, president Basava Samithi, India, S R Patil, minister for Infrastructure, IT, Bio Tech, Science & Technology, Planning & Statistics, Shambu Baligar, Folk Songs Lyricist, Artist.

Dr Neeraj Patil, National General Secretary of the Ethnic Minority Task Force, London, with whose efforts Lord Basaveshwara statue has been erected in London will be honored with ‘Basava Bhushana’ prashasti.

Tara, Kannada cine actress will also grace the occasion.
