Jubail: JAMWA brings NRI families together at Petrokemya Beach camp

Jubail, May 12: Jokatte Area Muslim Welfare Association (JAMWA) an NRI based Jokatteans committee has organized a family gathering 'GAMMATT-2016' at Petrokemya Beach Camp, here in a unique style. This event is mainly organized to promote a noble cause namely 'let's join together for community welfare' for socio-economic and educational development of the deprived communities of Jokatte and its surroundings.








































Delivering his presidential speech, JAMWA Saudi Arabia honorary president and Gulf based philanthropist, Jokatte Zakaria Almuzain conveyed the message of the gathering and spoke about the objectives of this event and how the challenges taken are for the betterment of the community.

He also said that their noble mission is to provide service in the fields of education, empowerment, economic development and for the betterment of the entire downtrodden community of Jokatte surroundings and bring about an educational revolution among the entire community of Jokatte.

Zakaria Muzain addressed the audience and presided over the GAMMATT get-ogether organized by JAMWA. He was also among the three Jokatte philanthropists, who were exclusively facilitated by JAMWA for their tremendous service to the community, the other two were B M Shereif, Jokatte White Stone, Jubail and Abdul Basheer Beary, Riyadh popularly known as NCMS Basheer.

The main guests present were Rafeeq Soorinje, president DKSC Jubail, Abdhul Hameed Bajpe, president of BAMA Dammam, Waseem Ali Rabbani, president Indian Social Forum Central Committee Eastern Region all of whom have applauded the efforts of the organization. Abdul Rahman Cheyyon president JAMWA Dammam- Jubail unit, Abdul Kader president JAMWA Riyadh unit, Mohammed AlMuzain, Fadil AlMusahhir, B M Shereif White Stone, Abdul Basheer NCMS, Sheikh Expertise, Aboobakar Raisco, Habeeb Kalai, Hathim Kulur, Faruq Arab Energia, Asif Deals Solution, Abid Column were also on the dais.

A M Arif vice president, JAMWA Dammam - Jubail, gave a briefing on the objectives of the organization to promote the noble cause titled 'let's join together for community welfare'. In the beginning Mohammed Ismail Ahmed Master (Basheer) recited the quran and addressed the gathering with an Islamic speech. He emphasized the need of community service and developing the attitude of selflessness, inviting the people to adhere to the teaching of Quran and Sunnath keeping the life of Sahaba as a followable pattern and Sharief Arikere delivered the vote of thanks. A memento of appreciation was given to all the guests and donors for their outstanding efforts in the field of community service.

GAMMATT event was the second event conducted in a sensational style by JAMWA team. It was a one night's event of celebration with thousands of coastal expatriates flokking at Petro Kemya beach camp. A quiz contest and cultural event were inaugurated through a coastal community culture of auctioning tender coconut which attracted the audience. Cultural programmes were held in which Islamic melodious songs and 'Duff' the traditional Islamic event by Karnataka Cultural Foundation Dammam captured the attention of the audience. The splendid cultural show, social awareness demonstration by Indian Social Forum Dammam too held the attention of the audience during the event.

Petrokemya Beach Camp compound hall was jam-packed by 10 pm and over 1,700 people gathered to enjoy the event. Sports and games for youngsters and indoor games were held for children. Volleyball and Tug Of War for youngsters and Pass the Ball for children were also held. People were seen enthusiastically participating in the spirit of fun. Ladies had indoor activities in a separate enclosure. Jubail Medicare Complex provided a health checkup desk throughout the programme. Many utilized this opportunity to check their blood sugar, BP etc. Delicious dinner was served along with snacks and tea at night.

The audio visual presentation in which the spectators were thrilled to see the history of Jokatte and the growth of the educational advancement in Jokatte was shown.

Finally there was a raffle draw, wherein the audience won amazing gifts and the fabulous prize was a Laptop Note Book.

JAMWA volunteers facilitated the smooth conducting of the programme with day and night restless service to succeed the event. Arif A M and Mohammed Ismail Ahmed anchored for the gents and Sakeena N M anchored for the ladies throughout the programme.
