I would like to add to my earlier comments about the outstanding contributions of Ronald Olivera who compered the “Konkani Sangeet Sanz” show. The success of any show depends on the master of ceremony and Rony was splendid as usual with his humor and excellence.
We, the organizing committee are very grateful to Rony who considers Bahrain as his second home, and consecutively compered our last 3 annual events without expecting anything in return and has been generous towards the Konkani Community’s fund raising efforts.
We also thankfully acknowledge the voluntary services of our evergreen make-up artist Shankar Jatanna and our photographer Roben D’Souza, music coordinator and sound and lighting organizer Swibert Mascarenhas and LCD operator Edwin D’Souza and all those who have contributed towards this show in one way or another. May God bless the sincere efforts of all those involved.

It was indeed a super hit, memorable and enjoyable show which kept us glued to the seats till the end. It was a feast of ageless melodies sung so beautifully by the singing sensations Ronald D'Cunha & Preema D'Souza.
While Rony was at his best as he sang "Sanz zali-re, konnalee cheddum, Rozalin, Preema was amazing and versatile as she sang "cha cha cha, mhujem kalliz mogar poddlam, mog zala konna" and the all-time favorite "noshibak roddtam". Her duets partnering with Rony were fantastic.
Little sisters Lanisha and Delisha Vaz were delightful to watch as they sang the songs "Lanponna" and "suknni ami zovllim". These wonder kids have created waves in the konkani music world in UAE as well as Goa and Mangalore and I firmly believe they will go to greater heights in the course of time. We wish them success and bright future.
The local singers were also equally good in supporting our guest singers. The dazzling dance display by our Konkani Community youth were brilliant to watch.
The return of comedians from Kuwait Jaison, Lancy, Stepehn, Rajesh & Lucy ensured that the show was super hit. Their hilarious performances far exceeded the expectations of the audience. These guys have taken their comedy world to a different level altogether.
As event coordinator of this show my sincere thanks to all our guest singers, local singers, dancers, donors, well-wishers, volunteers and not forgetting our mentors Fr. Freddy and Fr. Gaspar and my fellow organizing committee members.

Long live the Konkani music and culture.

It was a splendid, mesmerizing and an unforgettable show.

Ronald Olivera you are one of the best anchors of current time and known for your amazing sense of humour and flawless anchoring skills. God bless you with much more success & blessings always.

Great Wilfy's composition 'Saanz zaali re..' Rony you've sung it with so much soul, I can't express the awesomeness of this song in words.

Thank you Preema for coming here and entertaining us to the maximum with your soulful voice.

Lanisha and Delisha and all the local singers and musicians from Bahrain were fantastic.

Dances were performed and choregraped very well.

Rib- ticking comedy by Jason and group from Kuwait made us laugh till the end of the show.
Looking forward to many more such concerts in the future.

Thanks to Sacred Heart church for making it possible.

    Henry M.
