Mangalore Bicycle Club members hold ‘Save Netravathi’ cycle rally

Mangaluru, May 19: While the bandh is in progress in Dakshina Kannada district called against the implementation of Yettinahole project, members of Mangaluru Bicycle Club held a peaceful protest rally in city in a unique way.










The cycle rally named 'Save Netravathi Save Life' protest ride, saw a group of 100 cyclists participating on the morning of Thursday, May 19.

"It was an impactful ride and we hope that we, from the cycling community, have been able to send a strong message to the authority to act on behalf of citizens.” said the spokesperson for Mangalore Bicycle Club after the completion of the rally.

    Good Initiative guys. Keep up the good work, Save Netravathi and stop Yettinahole project immediately. The money spent so far for this project need to be claimed back from the Karnataka CM who is solely responsible for the states poor health. Jai Karnataka.
