Mangaluru, May 19: In her old age, Yellavva came in search of her sister's son Basava (30) who left his home three years ago and came to city in search of job.

Yellavva from Yankanchi, Bidar, came to Mangaluru 20 days before to look for her nephew with his photograph.

Basava is a native of Konkankoppa, Badami Taluk Bagalkot district. After Basava's father passed away, his uncle started quarrelling with him over land dispute.

Basava was fed up with these quarrels and came to Mangaluru in search of a job. Three years have gone by after he left home but he has never returned to his native place.

Speaking to daijiworld.com, Yellavva said, “Three years ago, Basava left home and came to Mangaluru for work. Ever since he left his native place, Basava never returned home. His mother has fallen sick and she is desperate for her son’s return.”

“I came to Mangaluru twenty days ago and have looked for him everywhere but have no clue about his whereabouts. When I showed his photograph to few people, they said that they have met him but nobody knows where he stays.”

She searched for Basava in places like Urwa Store, State Bank and various other places.

Presently she is desperately searching for Basava. She wants to take him back to his native place to console her sister who is sick and desperately waiting for her son.
