Mangaluru, May 20: Bhushan Gulabrao Borase, IPS, presently superintendent of police (SP) CID, Bengaluru has been transferred with immediate effect and posted as the superintendent of police, Dakshina Kannada.

Dr S D Sharanappa present SP has been transferred and posted as deputy commissioner of police, south division Bengaluru city.

Borase is a 2009-batch IPS officer from Maharashtra.

Amrith Paul IPS, inspector general of police, western range has been transferred and posted as inspector general of police , internal security division Bengaluru.

    Is Dr S D Sharanappa became victim of Baliga murder investigation which has taken turn with the arrest of Shailesh alias Shailu, son of Chandra Poojary?
    It is learnt that he had been working as a car driver for Dakshina Kannada BJP MP Nalin Kumar Kateel in the past.

    Is this a deliberate attempt to weaken the Baliga case and to shield founder NAMO brigade Naresh shenoy on run?

    The credibility of Dakshina Police force is at lowest since the sting operation of Cobrapost.

    If Mangaloreans need peace the entire department need shuffling with class and honest officers representing it.

    SMR,Mangalore City has its own Police commisionarate so DK SP has no role in Mangalore City. Most of the area of Mangalore Taluk under Mangalore Police Commissioner.
